| ROOT CANAL PROJECTORS® |
Root Canal Projectors are tapered plastic cones that are carried to the canal orifice by a file where they serve as “internal matrix barriers” around which pre-endodontic build-up material is injected. On polymerization of the build-up material, files and Projectors are removed, leaving “dedicated channels” back through the material and into each Projected canal. In cases of severe coronal breakdown, Canal Projection elevates orifices out of tissue contaminants, facilitates clamp retention and provides durable length measurement reference points. Other advantages of Canal Projection include improved condensation hydraulics via elongation of the canals, sealing the chamber floor early in treatment and reducing the risk of inter-appointment crown or root fracture.
